The beautiful disappointment – non-DEPECHE MODE CONCERT – PORTO
Well, as we already know the Depeche Mode concert in Porto, more precisely the concert scheduled for Depeche Mode as headliner at the Super Bock Festival in Porto (July 11, 2009) was cancelled! As we were all having a wonderful late lunch in that small enchanting restaurant in Porto on July 10 the phones started ringing. Friends from Romania wanted to let us know that the concert was canceled. Thanks, Traian, and sorry for not believing you at first…
Thank God, Oporto and Depeche Mode for an amazing non-Depeche Mode experience! I cannot find words to express what I feel.

Im one off the ones disappointed with what happened too, I traveled from Ireland and ended up not seeing DM live, plus also having problems to get the money back from the tickets….
Well it was sad, also not the first time that I had tickets bought and ended up not seeing them, …bad luck.
Anyways me and my gf had fun going back to Porto, my hometown, seeing family and friends, so nothing lost on doing the trip :)
Lets hope for the best for Dave and hopefully see DM soon somewhere. :)
btw I think that I saw you on the pitch club, the DM afterparty :)

thank you for the message. it was lovely being in your hometown, that’s for sure:). unfortunately, i am a little bit upset about all these cancellations, but hope someone will really apologize to us somehow… like release a song for the CANCELLAAAAATIOOOOOONS….. a sort of condemnation…take care and have fun! we have one life. best.
